Kate & A-Rod -- Thankful for the Gym

Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez made separate exits from the gym this morning, so as not to be seen together. But inside the gym, it was a whole different story.

Kate Hudson, Alex Rodriguez

A spy inside tells us Kate & A-Rod had no trouble showing off their affections, with Kate giving A-Rod a smooch in front of the 200+ people working out on Turkey Day.

Giuliani Ousted For Obama

Usually it's considered common courtesy to give up your seat to a woman -- but Rudy Giuliani was reportedly none too pleased when he had to vacate his prized spot at Yankee Stadium ... to the First Lady.

Rudy Giuliani, Michelle Obama

The former mayor of New York City always sits near the Yankee dugout, but according to Page Six he was relegated to sit behind the photographers' box for Game 1 of the World Series because Michelle Obama was given the seats instead.

The paper says it was the White House that didn't want Giuliani near Obama, but get this: Michelle didn't even sit in the seats because of the weather and they remained unoccupied for the whole game.

Giuliani got his seat back for Game 2, which the Yankees won.

Congressman Trash Talks Beyonce, Jay-Z

The Phillies dominated the Yankees last night -- and according to this PA congressman, not even the combined powers of Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kate Hudson and all the celebrity Yankees fans in the universe can help them pull ahead.

A-Rod Hits Traffic Ticket Out of the Park

Having a wildly impressive postseason really has its perks -- and yesterday in New York, it got Alex Rodriguez out of a traffic violation.

Alex Rodriguez: Click to watch
A-Rod's driver was this close to getting a ticket for blocking traffic in front of Serafina, but once the cop was told whose car it was -- and saw the group of teenagers standing by to get their hero's autograph -- the ticket book quietly disappeared.

Tonight, we'll see if A-Rod can make the Angels vanish just as easily.

A-Roid Confesses -- Cheater, Cheater, Cheater

Alex "The Fraud" Rodriguez just 'fessed up to taking performance-enhancing drugs while playing for the Texas Rangers during a three-year period beginning in 2001.

A-Rod: Click to watch
Cheater Rodriguez told ESPN's Peter Gammons, "When I arrived in Texas in 2001, I felt an enormous amount of pressure. I needed to perform, and perform at a high level every day."

Liar Rodriguez continued, "Back then, [baseball] was a different culture. It was very loose. I was young, I was stupid, I was naïve. I wanted to prove to everyone I was worth being one of the greatest players of all time."

Ruiner of Sports Rodriguez also said, "I did take a banned substance. For that, I'm very sorry and deeply regretful."

Blah, blah, blah cheater.

Yankee's Pitcher Popped for DUI

Joba ChamberlainThe Yankees didn't even make it to the post season, but that didn't stop one of their star pitchers from losing anyway.

Joba Chamberlain was arrested for DUI at around 1 AM on Saturday morning after being pulled over for speeding near his hometown of Lincoln, Nebraska. The Yank's pitcher allegedly had an open container of booze in the car.

Joba was booked for DUI, speeding and having an open container in his car -- he will be formally charged on Monday.

Now that Alex Rodriguez and Madonna are forever linked, the highest paid man in baseball is now the easiest fodder -- and Toronto Blue Jays fans took full advantage on Friday by hoisting photos of Madge before he went up to the plate.

The Blue Jays skunked the Yanks 5-0.

A-Rod's Wife Files Big D

Cynthia Rodriguez has officially filed for divorce from Alex Rodriguez.

In the documents, filed today in Miami, Cynthia says she's exhausted every effort to salvage the marriage. Alex has "emotionally abandoned" his wife, leaving her with no choice but to divorce him.

She says the marriage is "irretrievably broken" because of Alex's "extra-marital affairs and other marital misconduct." Note she said affairs -- plural.

She's seeking primary custody of the couple's two girls, Ella and Natasha, as well as child support to "maintain the existing lifestyle of the children." That includes life and health insurance and private school.

Cynthia says her man, a "prominent athlete" with "substantial earning power," has the "fiscal capacity to continue his high style of living" but she does not -- hence she's asking for alimony. She is asking to keep their $12 million, six-bedroom estate in Coral Gables, Fla. (and everything in it), as well as her sweet ride -- a Maybach.

She's also asking A-Rod to pay off their debt, as well as her attorney's fees.

The papers mention that a prenup was signed before the couple married in November 2002. Earle Lilly, one of Cynthia's lawyers, told TMZ last night it's too early to know if they will challenge the prenup. A lot is on the line, because A-Rod is reportedly set to rake in $445 mil over the course of his career.

As we first reported, Madonna's name will not be in the divorce papers, but Cynthia's attorney, Earle Lilly, says A-Rod's relationship with her was "the last straw."

Sox Fans Can't Mask Hatred for A-Rod

Alex RodriguezLeave it to the boys from Beantown to try and stick it to Alex Rodriguez.

A couple of TMZ spies from Boston showed up to tonight's Red Sox/Yankees game with their sights set on mocking the slugger's marital woes. They'd made up a few heads-on-sticks to taunt him with. One version had Madonna -- whose special relationship with A-Rod was what finally pushed his wife Cynthia to file for divorce. The other was Lenny Kravitz, who is close friends with A-Rod's wife.

But alas, it wasn't to be -- Yankees security confiscated the masks and trashed them at the gate. It worked -- A-Rod homered and the Yanks won 5-4.
